FAQs: Fitness Classes with Roz Chandler


Staying fit, motivated, and consistent can be a challenge — especially with busy schedules! Whether you prefer the energy of in-hall sessions or the convenience of Zoom, I’m here to help. Here are some of the most common questions I get from clients about my fitness classes.

1. What types of classes do you offer?

I offer a mix of Clubbercise, Aerobics based, Dancefit, Strength (lift lean, Kettlebells), HIIT, Pilates, Ibiza flex, Online Challenges, PT based challenges and Nutrition! designed for all levels. Each session focuses on improving strength, endurance, mobility, and overall well-being.

2. Can beginners join your classes?

Absolutely! All my classes are adaptable. I provide modifications and progressions so you can work at your own pace, whether you’re new to exercise or returning after a break.

3. What’s the difference between in-hall and Zoom classes?

  • In-hall classes: Enjoy the energy of working out with others in real time. Perfect for motivation, accountability, and social interaction.

  • Zoom classes: Participate from the comfort of your home, Live with me from the halls or you can catch up!

Both options offer a full workout experience — it’s really a matter of what suits your schedule and environment.

4. Do I need equipment?

Most classes use minimal equipment like resistance bands, dumbbells, or your own body weight. We do ask that you bring a mat to some classes - ALL class equipment is mentioned before the class on the weekly timetable or all classes can be done with no equipment!

5. How long are the classes?

Classes are typically 40 minutes, including warm-up, workout, and cool-down/stretch. Shorter 30-minute sessions are also available for those with tight schedules, or my Lift lean classes which are only 15 minutes long!

6. How do I sign up?

You can book via my online booking system or contact me directly through email or social media. Once signed up, you’ll receive a confirmation and, for Zoom classes, a secure link to join the session.

7. What if I miss a class?

No worries! sessions are often recorded, so you can catch up later. In-hall classes can also be swapped for another session depending on availability.

8. Is there a membership or pay-as-you-go option?

Yes! I offer flexible packages to suit your lifestyle:

  • Pay-as-you-go for occasional sessions

  • Monthly memberships for regular classes

9. What should I wear?

Comfortable workout clothing and supportive shoes are perfect for in-hall classes. For Zoom, just wear clothing that allows you to move freely and have a safe, clear space to exercise.

10. How do I know which class is right for me?

If you’re unsure, I offer a free trial class. Together, we can find the class that suits your fitness level, goals, and schedule.
