Back to basics! Lets get you motivated!

Mondays always seems like a good day to start again doesn't it?

Are you fired up and raring to go?

Good intentions?

Do they then fail a few days in?

Why do you think that happens?

Sometimes we just go all in and do things that aren't sustainable, we cut out carbs, we cut out all fat, we go overboard on the exercise hoping it will make a difference, we cut out the odd treat and all is does is leaves us, tired, hungry and fed up!!

This then leads us to eating sugary rubbish to make ourselves feel better!

Sugar is the worse thing we can then rely on, just adds to highs and lows, mood swings, lethargy and added weight gain!

The best way forward is Balance and Back to Basics

1.Plan your week out with your food and exercise and start gradually

Include carbs to give you energy (wholegrain pasta, rice etc into your diet and aim for 30-40% of your plate)

Include good protein to help your hormones and cells to repair and fill you up (plant or animal (chicken, fish, nuts, legumes, seeds, greek yogurt and aim for 30-40% of your plate)

Include healthy fats to help give you energy and alleviate sugar cravings (oily fish, olive oil, nuts, seeds, avocados aim for 20-30% of your plate)

2.Include toning in your week - maybe more than aerobic exercise if time is tight as even toning will help you burn calories and has the added benefit of toning your muscles as our muscle mass decreases

3.Don't underestimate the importance of water!!! Keep those bodies hydrated - aim for at least 8 classes a day!

On the 7th October I will be running a weeks FREE Lift lean in 15

These classes are toning based and are just 15 minutes long!

They will be on zoom at 6.30am or you can catch the replays via a whats app group

If you would like to join us then head to this link and register your interest!!

Easy!
